Sindh Health Minister Needs Provincial Level MDCAT Examination

 The admissions of candidates are handled by the Pakistan Medical Commission in all medical and dental colleges around the country and PMC makes provisions for the MDCAT examination to fulfill the students' eligibility requirements.

Sindh Health Minister now demands that PMC allow the provincial government of Sindh to treat their MDCAT examination at the provincial level of the medical and dental colleges of Sindh Province. The Health Minister of Sindh said there were several anomalies in the results of the MDCAT 2020 examination. The objections to the PMC were presented by the Minister for Education and Information of Sindh.

Other provinces have raised their complaints and voiced their reservations over the PMC administering the entrance examination. In order to perform the candidates' medical entrance tests at the provincial level, the provincial government will also form the Sindh Medical and Dental Council. According to the 18th amendment, in MBBS and BDS systems, the provinces will begin their admission tests and the Sindh government has already carried out admission tests for medical and dental colleges with clarity.
